What changes
Transparent pixels become pure white in the JPG. A photographic or colored background that was already visible remains visible.
Manual main-image checklist
Confirm pure white background, product framing, no superimposed text or graphics and suitable dimensions in the listing workflow.
Keep control of the source
Retain the original PNG when you need transparency or a different crop; conversion is not background removal.
